It’s Time to Unleash the Power of Canada’s Community-Based Seniors Services Sector to Better Enable Healthy Ageing and Ageing in the Right Place

The National Institute on Ageing (NIA) is pleased to release a draft report on the current state of Canada’s CBSS Sector and recommendations to strengthen and support the future value, growth and sustainability of it.

Developed in partnership with HelpAge Canada over the last three years, it outlines key findings and recommendations emerging from a pan-Canadian and international jurisdictional analysis, the national consultations led by HelpAge with sector leaders, service providers, volunteers, caregivers and older adults from across Canada; and supported with reviews and additional contributions by sector and jurisdictional experts.
