Almira Zhantuyakova

Almira Zhantuyakova is an MD student at the University of Toronto and recent PhD graduate from the University of British Columbia, where her research focused on ovarian cancer, translational immunology, and molecular therapeutics. During her PhD, she worked on multidisciplinary cancer research projects involving molecular biology, high-dimensional data analysis, and knowledge translation. She also led an implementation research project examining ovarian cancer prevention strategies in Kazakhstan. Almira is looking forward to exploring the policy research space and contributing to initiatives aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of older adults.
