Virginia Bosomworth
Virginia Bosomworth is an accomplished leader dedicated to driving value for businesses, and known for her ability to help people grow and succeed. Over her 30-year career in the financial services industry in the United States, Virginia exhibited versatility and depth as she provided leadership in sales organizations, executed strategies in multi-geographic operating roles and delivered broad reaching human capital solutions. After relocating to Toronto, Virginia launched her own consulting practice linking strategy with performance outcomes, resulting in improvements to the organization’s bottom line and engagement among its participants. Throughout her career, Virginia participated as a community leader serving not-for-profit organizations in a variety of roles in both the United States and Canada. An active member of The LIFE Institute Board of Directors since 2013, she chaired the Board over a five-year period during a time of significant membership growth. The LIFE Institute is a Toronto-based, 1,800-member-strong charitable organization dedicated to providing lifelong learning opportunities to older adults. In addition, Virginia is engaged in international development work and also as a new farmer in Canada, with the intent of providing land access to young aspiring farmers to promote food security and enable a sustainable future. Virginia holds a Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Kentucky.
